I'm from Eastern Washington where we DO fall. We DO fall so well because we have apple and wheat harvest, the leaves change, and the temperatures start to drop all at the same time. I miss that kind of fall living down here in Central Texas, so getting to go to a Pumpkin Patch was just what I needed to feel the spirit of the season.
I got to take this cute family out to the Silo Christmas Tree Farm in Temple, Texas. This farm is really gorgeous! There are red buildings, yellow buildings, tents full of every kind of pumpkin to pick from, of course the old silo, a train ride, a tractor ride, pony rides, bouncy castles, scarecrow making, mazes, face painting, everything! The best part is, that admission is a food or monetary donation to the Helping Hands Ministry. The staff is very friendly and I really enjoyed my time there - I'm pretty sure these kiddos did too!
